Brief Artist’s Statement
“I am awed and inspired by the beauty of God’s creation and thankful for my gift to express myself through art. I paint people, places and animals that touch my heart and radiate God’s graciousness. There has always been a warm place in my heart for animals, but my work is mostly about bold vibrant color. No matter what subject I decide to paint or what medium I work with (acrylics, watercolor or clay), the bright palette is what makes my work stand apart. Humor is also an important part of my work. When people see my work I want them to giggle or at least smile.”
